How to make an Alors On Danse AI video
Follow these five steps. The whole process takes a few minutes and needs no prompt.
- 1
Pick two good photos
Choose one photo per person: front-facing, the whole head in frame, even light, no sunglasses or masks. For a pet, use one dog or cat with the whole face visible.
- 2
Add the keyboard player
Put the person who should sit at the desk in slot 1, the blue slot. This role gets most of the close-ups.
- 3
Add the dance partner
Put the second person in slot 2, the coral slot. This role does the pointing, clapping and dancing.
- 4
Check the roles and swap
Look at the previews. If the cast feels the wrong way round, press Swap. If one of the two is a pet, switch to Human & pet first.
- 5
Generate and download
Pick 480p or 720p and a format, tick the consent box and generate. When the video is ready, download it from the result screen or from My videos.
Choosing your photos
The photos decide how recognisable the characters are. This is what works and what causes trouble.
| Works well | Causes trouble |
|---|---|
| One person, facing the camera | Group photos or photos with a second face in the background |
| Whole head and hair visible | Cropped foreheads, hats, hoods |
| Even daylight or room light | Strong shadows across the face, heavy filters |
| Neutral or smiling expression | Sunglasses, masks, extreme angles |
| A recent, sharp photo | Low-resolution or screenshot photos under 300 px |
Assigning the roles
Slot 1 is the keyboard player and slot 2 is the dance partner, and the colours never change: blue for the keys, coral for the dance. Decide the roles before you upload, because the keyboard player gets the most close-ups.
A good rule is to give the keys to the calmer person and the dance to the more expressive one, then use Swap to see whether the opposite casting is funnier. Swapping is free and does not need new uploads.
How to avoid mixed-up faces
- Use exactly one person or animal in every photo. Two faces in one photo is the most common cause of a mix-up.
- Pick two photos with similar light and a similar distance from the camera, so neither person looks pasted into the scene.
- Avoid two people who look very alike in the same video, such as twins, unless the photos clearly differ in hair and clothes.
- In Human & pet mode, check that the pet badge is on the slot with the animal before you generate.
Getting a steadier result
- Start with 480p. It costs half as much and shows you whether the photos work before you spend more.
- If a face drifts, try a different photo of the same person rather than the same photo again.
- Keep the format to widescreen for a desk scene and vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
- Failed videos are refunded automatically, so a retry with a better photo costs nothing extra.
When something goes wrong
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The two people look like each other | Use clearer photos with different hair and clothes, one person per photo |
| The wrong person is at the keyboard | Press Swap before generating |
| The pet looks like a person | Use a front-facing photo of the whole face and check the pet badge |
| The video failed | Your credits were refunded. Try another photo |
| The photo is rejected | Use a JPG, PNG or WebP under 8 MB and at least 300 px on each side |
